Lovely staff. After the fire, nothing about their great tasting food changed. They're very amazing people. Such a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. I firmly believe this is the best teriyaki in gig harbor, and it makes gig harbor complete. Their spanaway locations food is the same but the staff wasn't excited to be there and the service was definitely lacking. I won't be returning to that location.

Can’t get enough of their curry chicken. They are always so fast and friendly. Our kids love the teriyaki.

Amazing food! It was also super fast and accurate. We came in during what looked like a busy time, ordered 6 meals to-go and it was ready in 15mins! Still super hot and yummy. The box did leak on the way home, but we weren't very careful with it and it all stayed in the bag.

Amazing food and prices. We would eat there once a week until we moved. We can’t wait until we come back to Gig Harbor for a visit. It’s the first place on our list of places to go. We miss you Kinza!

My favorite teriyaki not only in town, but the best I've ever had. Amazing and friendly staff as well as extremely quick service (yes the food is fresh made and deliciously made). Family owned and operated. You can spend as little time as 20 minutes or as much as 2 hours and it's completely up to you.

Me and my fiance absolutely loved the place after our first visit! The friendliest staff we've ever encountered who remembered us even after only having been once before. The food is hands down the best I've ever tasted!

I love this restaurant for so many reasons. The environment is welcoming, attentive caring social outgoing employees that make you feel like family. I've been going here for MANY YEARS. These people know there customers by name and always ask about my kids or wherever we left off in conversation from the last time even if it was a year prior. Again.... Family. The food is always great. I'm super picky... And no matter how packed they are or how slammed with orders they always still pay attention to detail of my order. You can order to go or dine in and the food will taste the exact same. If you have never been here, or maybe have tried other teriyaki places and didn't like it do yourself a favor and try Kinza's teriyaki chicken and fried rice and you will end up craving it there after.

My favorite Teriyaki place. I would eat here at least once a week if I lived on their side of the Narrows Bridge.

Clean restaurant, very friendly workers. I thought the portions where small for what I paid. The food was ok but that salad dressing let's just say not good. So many love that place that's why I tried it. I love chicken teriyaki but I've had alot better. Everyone has different taste buds though. I did see some deep fried prawns go by and they look so delicious

Low prices, great service and seriously fast fresh tasting food!! The salad dressing is better than any I have ever had before. And the lunch prices are so great! First time but I will be coming back!!! Yummm!

My boyfriend Nate and I have been coming to Kinza since we were kids! And nearly 15 years later they still have the best teriyaki in town and the kindest, coolest, most hard working staff - We are so lucky as a community to have them and I highly recommend them!

Keep it simple. Order the Chicken Teriyaki lunch special. I like to sub fried rice for regular. It's always amazing.

Good service, but quality is a little lacking. My main disappointment is that the salad lacked any nutrition, being that it was comprised almost entirely of iceberg lettuce.

best teriyaki place I have ever eaten at, hands down, and i have eaten at quite a few. the staff was so friendly and personable, it felt like I was eating at my grandma's with my family. our waitress made incredible recommendations. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I have been coming to Kinza for over 15 years with my family and they have to be my favorite place in Gig Harbor. No other restaurant has been as reliable, quick, and friendly, and the amount of business they do is no surprise. The food is always fantastic and their salad dressing is so good you have to buy a bottle yourself! I recommend them to anyone who loves good food and I'm sure you'll be back.

Kinza has been my favorite for over 25 years. The family that runs the restaurant is truly wonderful. It’s the best teriyaki I’ve ever had and it still tastes exactly the same as it did the day I first tried it. It never disappoints.

Kinza is our family’s go to restaurant! Take out or sit in, consistently always good. The service is fast pace friendly & we are always greeted with a smile! Great service. chicken breast teriyaki was a bit dry, but tasted okay. was disappointed that they no longer serve beef bulgogi.

My favorite teriyaki joint in the area. Chicken always has a great flavor and is not dry (often other restaurants chicken is dried out). Maybe a bigger item I crave is their dressing which I like to add to the rice. So freaking good, so so good. The prices could be a hint lower, but it is not egregious.

Overrated. I've had way better teriyaki.

Firstly I usually love them, they are a great go to for chicken fried rice and egg rolls. Unfortunately for me tonight my egg rolls are about 98% black and hard as a rock! I’m so bummed out for this being a $20 meal I expect better, especially for a regular like myself. I know personally I would have never served this to a paying customer period.

Friday dinner rush at 6pm! Full House and people are happy, no crazy wait times! To Go orders on point! They treat you like family!

Fast service, great food, good for younger kids

Best inexpensive teriyaki I've had outside of Japan. Everything on the menu is consistently good, their salad is incredible, and it is clear that they care about their food. Service is great as well, and I have zero complaints. Great for lunch or dinner, but they can get busy.
